PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial cabinet meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 10 at 6 pm under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi, for which the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Administration Department has issued a letter to all cabinet members.
Along with the letter, a 29-point agenda was also issued to the cabinet members, which will be considered and approved in the cabinet meeting to be held tomorrow. According to the letter and agenda issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Administrative Affairs to the cabinet members, the cabinet meeting will approve the Ramadan Support Package 2026 for low-income families so that relief can be provided to the poor class affected by inflation.
Similarly, the issue of reconstitution of the Quran Board and appointment of members of the National Commission for Minority Rights will also be placed before the cabinet, in addition to this, matters related to law and order and security will also be considered in the meeting.
An additional grant of Rs 385 million for the families of Levies martyrs, while additional funds for improving police infrastructure in southern districts are also expected to be approved. At the administrative level, a proposal will be made to establish a new Tehsil Tank II in Tank district. Apart from this, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kalash Marriage Bill 2025 and the Hindu Marriage Amendment Bill 2025 are also part of the cabinet agenda.
Under such development projects, the construction of a fruit and vegetable market in Bara tehsil of Khyber district, installation of RPC manhole covers and other civic amenities projects will also be considered.
In addition, matters related to the preparations of the local governments for the upcoming elections will also be discussed in the cabinet.
