The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a new facility to make obtaining a driving license faster and easier for citizens.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has completely digitized the process of issuing learner driving licenses for LTV and HTV transport vehicles, under which now applicants can submit their application through the online procedure from home and after completing the prescribed steps, they can obtain a learner license in a short time.
This facility has been developed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board with the administrative support of the Transport Directorate and the Transport and Mass Transit Department. Now this service is available on the Dastak mobile app.
Citizens will download the app and enter their information, pay the required fee online and after digital verification, they will be issued a learner license.
The provincial government says that in the future, more services will be transferred online in a similar manner so that e-governance can be promoted in the province and modern facilities can be provided to the public. The aim of this initiative is to relieve citizens from long queues and unnecessary delays so that the public can fulfil legal requirements in the shortest possible time.
