PESHAWAR (Kashifuddin Syed): To modernise the health sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the health department has initiated a recruitment campaign based on a first-come, first-served approach rather than traditional advertisements for job openings.
Sources indicate that 2,439 positions for medical officers, dental surgeons, and nurses will be filled under the provincial government’s Good Governance Initiative. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance the quality of services at primary and secondary healthcare centres throughout the province.
The health department has implemented a walk-in interview system, overseen by the Departmental Selection Committee and the Divisional Commissioners, to expedite and ensure transparency in the recruitment process.
According to the timeline released by the Ministry of Education, the deadline for submitting applications is April 8, interviews will be conducted by April 20, and selection recommendations are to be submitted by April 22.
