PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police on Friday reshuffled several senior officers of different cadres. Shafiullah Gandpur was again appointed in the Hazara division.
According to a statement issued by the office of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police, Zulfiqar Hameed, several senior police officers, including the district police officers posted and transferred while giving them new assignments in different regions of the province.
The notification noted that Shafiullah Gandapur, who was recently transferred from the Mansehra district, has been posted as a district police officer in Haripur in the Hazara division. While Farhan Khan, DPO, Haripur, was placed as SSP Operations at CCPO Peshawar.
Similarly, Mazhar Iqbal, the district police officer, Khyber, was transferred and appointed as a personal security officer to IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rifatullah Khan, who was awaiting posting at CPO, Peshawar, has been posted as District Police Officer of Chitral Lower.
The notification said that Waqar Ahmad, District Police Officer, Waziristan, was also transferred and appointed as DPO Khyber. Whereas Sajjad Hussain was replaced by Waqar Ahmad in North Waziristan.
Also, Iftikhar Shah has been given the responsibility as SP Training and Admin at CPO Peshawar, who was previously working as DPO Chitral Lower.
Similarly, Farmanullah, awaiting posting at CPO Peshawar posted as Director FSL in Peshawar. While Raza Muhammad, Acting SP Saddar has been transferred and posted as a DPO Mohmand.
