Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has given Paharpur, a subdivision of Dera Ismail Khan, the rank of district and it’s named as District Paharpur.
The Revenue and Assistant Department of the Board of Revenue has issued this notification according to the decision of Provincial Cabinet 39th meeting held on 2 October 2025. According to the notification number Rev: VUBi/DIK/Paharpur/2025/1022, this order is implemented under Section 5 and 6 of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Land Revenue Act 1967.
