PESHAWAR: The Department of Climate Change, Forests, Environment and Wildlife of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a notification for the appointment of eight candidates for the posts of Assistant Director (BPS 17) in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The appointments have been made on the recommendations of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission.
According to the notification issued, Saad-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Imad, Muhammad Yahya Khan, Ansa Kiran, Muhammad Junaid, Muhammad Luqman, Wasim Sajjad and Hafsa Khan have been appointed as Assistant Directors.
According to the notification, the newly appointed officers will initially be on probation for a period of one year, which can be extended for another year in case of unsatisfactory performance. During the probation period, the employment can be terminated if the performance is unsatisfactory, while in the case of resignation, fourteen days’ notice must be given.
Along with the appointment, the posting of the officers has also been done under the orders issued by the department. Saad-ur-Rehman has been posted to the EPA Regional Office Abbottabad, Muhammad Imad to the EPA Regional Office Malakand (Swat), while Muhammad Yahya Khan has been posted to the EPA Central Directorate Peshawar.
Similarly, Ansa Kiran has been posted to the EPA Head Office Peshawar, Muhammad Junaid to the EPA Divisional Office Orakzai, Muhammad Luqman to the EPA Khyber Office, while Wasim Sajjad and Hafsa Khan have been posted to the EPA Head Office Peshawar.
The notification clarified that this appointment will not create any right to seniority, while the mutual seniority of the officers will be determined as per the merit list issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission.
