PESHAWAR: On the special directives of the Provincial Minister for Tourism, Culture, Archaeology and Museums, Mr Fazal Shakoor Khan, the Sardaryab Family Park has been retrieved from encroachment, and orders have been issued to the concerned contractor to immediately deposit the pending lease amount and restore the park to its original condition.

The Minister also announced that a Food Festival exclusively for females will be organised at the park later this month.
According to details, Mr Omer Arshad Khan, Director of Administration and Finance, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), visited the Sardaryab Family Park yesterday to review the current situation. The park, spread over 11 kanals, was leased out in 2012. Acting upon the directives of Minister Fazal Shakoor Khan, the Director took necessary steps to restore the park and to soon organise healthy recreational activities for families.
As part of these efforts, a Food Festival for Females will be held this month at Sardaryab Family Park. The event will feature traditional cuisine stalls, a children’s play area and cultural performances, providing an enjoyable and family-friendly environment for visitors.
