PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has moved forward with a plan to build a link road to connect south-central districts with the Motorway (M-14). 

According to a statement issued by the KP government on Monday, stated that under the direction of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, the Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority has taken a significant step towards enhancing travel facilities for the southern districts of Bannu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, and North Waziristan.

A formal tender has been issued under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework for direct access from the Bannu Link Road on Indus Highway (N-55) to the Hakla-Yark-DI Khan Motorway (M-14).

The completion of this project will make travel in the region easier, safer, and faster. It will also establish effective connectivity between the southern districts and the national highway and motorway network.

This project aims to not only provide modern travel facilities to the public but also to significantly promote regional trade, investment, and economic activities.
