The parliamentary delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf met with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at his residence in Islamabad. Detailed consultations were held regarding the election of a new Chief Minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The PTI delegation included Members of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Atif Khan, Ali Asghar Khan Jadoon, Junaid Akbar and Dr Amjad Khan, while Pakistan Peoples Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the PTI delegation, while talking to the Governor, said that the PPP has always adhered to democratic traditions and the PPP’s cooperation is also needed in the elections of the Chief Minister.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi said that the constitution and law will be fully respected in approving the resignation of Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, and that progress can be made for the development of the province with consultation with the opposition parties.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi further said that all political forces will have to play a joint role in ensuring sustainable peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and providing facilities to the people. He said that the PPP is a party that upholds democratic traditions and the strength of democracy.
