PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has launched a public initiative to repair and renovate parks across the province, urging citizens to report parks that are in poor condition or require improvement for immediate repair.

The initiative taken by the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahab Ali Shah, who has called on the public to tag the official Twitter account with the location and pictures of any park needing attention. This participatory approach aims to expedite the identification and restoration of neglected recreational spaces in the province.

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assures immediate repair and renovation of the concerned parks,” the Chief Secretary’s office stated in an official tweet. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to creating a greener and more beautiful KP for all residents.

Officials emphasised that the campaign is part of a broader vision to enhance public amenities and promote environmental wellbeing throughout the province. Citizens are encouraged to participate actively to help achieve the shared goal of a clean and green KP.
