Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has described the behavior of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as regrettable and condemnable.

In a statement, the minister questioned, If these sit-ins continue, who will focus on running the province?.

He added that the KP government is making illegal demands that go against jail regulations.

Atta Tarar criticized PTI founder Imran Khan, stating that he has been convicted in the mega corruption case, damaged the national economy, and left Pakistan isolated on the diplomatic front.

The minister added that no other prisoner has received the privileges currently granted to the PTI founder.

He also raised concerns about negative propaganda against Pakistan originating from India and Afghan territory, alleging that social media is being used to orchestrate methods for meetings with the PTI founder.

The remarks come amid threats from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who has reportedly warned of disrupting parliamentary proceedings over being denied a meeting with Imran Khan and has announced plans to protest at the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday.
