PESHAWAR (Muhammad Ijaz Afridi): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department has abolished the requirement for obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Finance Department for the recruitment of teaching and medical staff in both the Health Department and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

This decision was announced in a letter issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department following a meeting of the provincial cabinet. The letter clarifies that it is no longer necessary to obtain an NOC for appointments to vacant approved positions within these two departments.

Furthermore, the letter states that, based on the provincial cabinet’s decision, the NOC requirement has been abolished for new appointments of medical staff in the Health Department and teaching staff in the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

All District Accounts Officers, including those in merged districts, are instructed to ensure strict compliance with these new directives.
