Chief Minister(CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP) Sohail Afridi has said that in the context of the global situation, PTI will abide by the party’s founder’s decision to postpone the scheduled rally of PTI.
While holding a press conference at the Chief Minister’s House, he said that if my leader’s words were implemented, then today Pakistan would be praised all over the world. The founder of PTI has given a clear message that we are for Pakistan, which is why he postponed his rally for the sake of the country with good intentions.
Sohail Afridi asked that the former Prime Minister postpone his rally, who can be more patriotic than him? He expressed regret that my leader and his wife are innocent prisoners, despite postponing the rally, Khan Sahib is not being treated at Al-Shifa.
He said that the founder of PTI has appreciated his work and has sent a message that a big rally should be announced in the province within 10 days.
The Chief Minister said that all future decisions will be taken through collective consultation, for which he will soon meet Mahmood Khan Achakzai and other leaders. Talking about provincial affairs, he said that despite the cabinet not being completed, work is going well in all departments, but the cabinet will be completed soon for better administration.
The Chief Minister mentioned the Rs 1,000 billion scheme called “Rokhana Tribes” and said that the province will give Rs 50 billion to the merged districts from its own resources.
Regarding Afghan refugees, the Chief Minister said that Afghans who are helping Pakistan’s economy should be here, but if anyone has to be sent back, they should be sent back with respect. He stressed that Afghans are also human beings and should be treated as human beings, which is why the provincial government is helping those returning with food and rent. He further said that we are in favor of talks with Afghanistan as well.
Regarding law and order, Sohail Afridi said that a decision has been made to establish civil diplomacy in Malakand division, while a special plan is being made for peace in the South region.
