Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s revolutionary initiative to resolve public issues: Launch of online open courts
To ensure immediate and direct redressal of citizens’ grievances, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has formally launched a series of online open courts from Bajaur district. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between the government and the people by following the vision of PTI founder Imran Khan, “Your Prime Minister with you”.
While listening to the citizens’ issues directly during the online court, the Chief Minister clarified that public grievances should be resolved within 14 days in any case, and a detailed report should be submitted. He paid special attention to the education sector and ordered immediate action on the lack of teacher attendance and basic facilities in schools. Sohail Afridi directed that, as per the provincial standards, one teacher should be appointed for every 40 students, and the issues of second shift teachers should be resolved on a priority basis. He also ordered the strict implementation of the minimum monthly salary policy and the direct transfer of salaries to the bank accounts of teachers.
Bringing reforms in the transport sector, the Chief Minister directed strict implementation of the fixed number of rides and fares in public transport and warned that the licenses of violators would be cancelled. Regarding health, he ordered the relevant authorities to make surprise visits to ensure the presence of doctors in hospitals and take immediate action against those who are negligent.
Delivering good news for the youth of the tribal districts, the Chief Minister announced the revival of the former FATA Games so that local talent can get ample opportunities for sports. Apart from this, he also issued immediate orders on complaints related to the restoration of link roads in Bajaur district, the provision of clean drinking water, and other basic services. Talking to the citizens, Sohail Afridi said that just as Imran Khan cares about the nation, his government also stands with the people in every difficult time.
