SAWABI: Former speaker of the National Assembly and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Asad Qaiser, said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa always faces uncertainty and is targeted by terrorism, and cannot bear further unrest.

Former Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, emphasized that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been the region most directly targeted by terrorism.

In a recent media statement, he noted that the Afghan war caused significant harm to the province, leading to the emergence of a Kalashnikov culture and severely damaging the local economy.

He stated that the negative repercussions of the Afghan conflict continue to affect the region.

During this tumultuous period, thousands of police personnel and soldiers sacrificed their lives, while numerous businesses and homes were destroyed.

Asad Qaiser expressed his dismay that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has historically been treated as a stepchild, which has compelled investors and businessmen to move their enterprises to other cities.

Former Speaker of the National Assembly, Central leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Secretary General of Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan, Asad Qaiser, has welcomed the Pakistan-Afghanistan Peace Agreement held in Doha, Qatar.

He stated that Afghanistan is our brotherly Islamic and close neighbouring country, bound to Pakistan through deep religious, cultural, and historical ties.
