PESHAWAR: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has expressed profound appreciation and congratulations to the athletes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their commendable performance at the 35th National Games 2025 held in Karachi.

According to the final official medal table, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa athletes demonstrated outstanding talent, resilience and sportsmanship by securing a total of 68 medals, including 5 Gold, 18 Silver and 45 Bronze medals across various sports. This remarkable achievement reflects the growing strength of sports development and athlete preparation in the province.

The Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs Department congratulated all athletes, coaches and support staff, stating that this success is a testament to their hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence. He emphasized that the provincial government remains fully committed to providing improved facilities, training opportunities and institutional support to further enhance sports performance at national and international levels.

The Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also lauded the athletes for bringing pride to the province, noting that consistent investment in grassroots sports and talent development is yielding positive results. He reaffirmed the department’s resolve to continue nurturing young talent and strengthening sports infrastructure across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement issued by the Media and Communication Officer, it was stated that the historic performance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa athletes at the National Games is a source of immense pride for the entire province. The Media and Communication Officer highlighted that such achievements not only uplift the image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the national level but also serve as inspiration for the youth to actively participate in sports and healthy activities. He further reaffirmed the department’s commitment to effectively highlighting and promoting the achievements of provincial athletes through all available media platforms.
