PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP) Assembly security committee to hold an important meeting regarding the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting of the special security committee established to consider the overall security situation of the province will be held at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly at 12 noon.

In the meeting, the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will give a detailed briefing to the committee on the current security situation of the province, while the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the opposition leader and members of the government and opposition parties will also attend.

It should be noted that a 39-member special security committee has been formed to control the law and order situation in the province and formulate an effective strategy. This committee aims to review the current situation and make recommendations to the government and relevant institutions so that security and stability can be ensured in the province.

Experts said that today’s meeting will consider important aspects of security, potential threats and safety measures, and then a better strategy for maintaining law and order in the province will be formulated.
