PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board has officially launched the Digital Internship Program for 2025–26, aimed at empowering women and providing them with practical experience in cutting-edge technology sectors.

This six-month paid internship program will offer selected women a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000. The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance women’s participation in the digital economy and provide them with professional development opportunities in emerging technological fields.

Interns will receive training in essential areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Web and Application Development, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, and UI/UX. To ensure effective training, the selected women will be placed in IT companies located within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s IT Park, the Digital Transformation Unit, and at the KPITB headquarters. This arrangement will allow them to gain direct practical experience tailored to the industry’s needs.

Female candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal at joinit.kp.gov.pk/list/jobs. According to the IT Department Board, the deadline for submitting applications is March 13, 2026.

This is being promoted as a golden opportunity for women looking to build their careers in the technology field.
