PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department on Thursday approved the promotion of 43 medical officers across the province. The doctors promoted from grade 18 to grade 19 on an acting charge basis with immediate effect.

According to a notification issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department, on the recommendation of the provincial selection board in its meeting held on September 2 this month, the member of service (BS-18) has been promoted to the post of member of service (BS-19) on an acting charge basis (ACB) with immediate effect.

It noted that the doctors on promotion will remain on probation for a period of one year in terms of section 6 (2) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Service Servants Act 1973.

The notification mentioned that the posting and transfer notification of newly promoted officers will be issued later.

All the promoted doctors belong to different parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and are currently posted in various hospitals on managerial posts.
