PESHAWAR: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Rahmat Salam Khattak accused Sohail Afridi of using negative propaganda to stir his street movement and achieve his political objectives
Khattak rejected the provincial government’s allegations which blamed the federal government for the displacement of Tirah Valley residents during his interview with Pukhtoon Digital. He asserted that the truth was the opposite
Khattak stated that Sohail Afridi used his situation to gain political advantage. He declared that Afridi was using this problem to start his street protests while he worked on his political goals
Khattak displayed his criticism of the provincial government by stating that its leaders dedicated their efforts to political advantage instead of working for the people’s benefit. He explained that the federal government continued its openness to dialogues with the provincial government, while the province dedicated its efforts to political advantage instead of public service.
Khattak showed that the provincial government, through its official statements, confirmed that voters supported their election because they wanted to help Imran Khan gain freedom instead of advancing the province’s growth.
He emphasized that turning public issues into political tools was not in the best interest of the province and its people. “Such statements only fuel division and unrest,” Khattak said.
Khattak also urged the provincial government to stop misleading the public and, instead, seriously engage with the federal government to resolve the issues at hand.
Senator Sanaullah exposes terrorists profiting from drug trade in Tirah valley
Senator Rana Sanaullah has revealed that a massive drug industry is thriving in the Tirah Valley, with terrorists making substantial financial gains from it.
While talking to media, Senator Rana Sanaullah and the Prime Minister’s political advisor reported that 12000 acres of Tirah Valley land serve as cannabis cultivation sites which terrorists use to finance their operations.
Sanaullah stated that authorities will treat terrorists with maximum force because they will pursue terrorists until they locate their hiding spots. He instructed Tirah community leaders to prevent terrorists from taking refuge in their areas, while he requested residents to support security personnel in their missions.
The Senator stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities understand the current situation yet they present a false image of their ignorance. He accused the provincial government of refusing to acknowledge the problem, fearing political loss, particularly the fallout from supporting an operation, similar to the one faced by the Awami National Party (ANP).
Sanaullah stated to the public that citizens must expect an operation to occur at any moment because the government maintains a policy that leads people to evacuate their homes for protection.
Senator Rana Sanaullah announced that the February 8 demonstration will honour the electoral process, while Maulana Fazlur Rehman will show his backing for government operations.
He accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party of conducting electoral fraud during the 2018 elections which Maulana Fazlur Rehman will use to announce February 8 as a “Black Day” demonstration against PTI.
Sanaullah finished his speech by declaring that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has experienced continuous unfair treatment through restricted thinking.
