ISLAMABAD: Pakistan all-rounder Hassan Talat has been ruled out of the upcoming series against Bangladesh as well as the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to a shoulder injury.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that Talat will undergo rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Medical experts indicate that he will need at least 12 to 14 weeks to regain full fitness and return to play.

The PCB also confirmed that Talat received successful treatment at the hospital and is now feeling better after being discharged. He sustained the injury while fielding during a match against Bangladesh, which has unfortunately resulted in an extended absence from the field for the all-rounder.

Fast bowler Zaman Khan has suffered a shoulder injury during the National T20 Tournament, putting his participation in the upcoming Pakistan Super League in doubt.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, the pacer sustained the injury during a match between Peshawar and Faisalabad, where his shoulder joint was dislocated.

The PCB has directed Zaman Khan to report to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, where the board’s medical panel will assess his condition and devise a recovery and rehabilitation plan.

Officials said the fast bowler may require four to six weeks to regain full fitness.

Zaman Khan was included in the squad of Peshawar Zalmi for the upcoming PSL season. His availability for the tournament will depend on his recovery in the coming weeks.
