ISLAMABAD: An important development has come to light in the matter of the removal of Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri from office by the Islamabad High Court, as five Justices  knocked on the door of the Supreme Court to challenge his removal.

According to sources, Justice Tariq Jhangiri is likely to fight his own case in the Supreme Court and will file an appeal in the Supreme Court soon. Justice Tariq Mahmood Jhangiri, along with Justice Babar Sattar, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani, Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq and Justice Saman Imtiaz, have reached the Supreme Court. All five judges have reached the Supreme Court to file a petition against the suspension of Justice Tariq Jahangiri from work.
