Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has issued a strong condemnation of the ongoing U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian civilians.
Addressing the Senate on Wednesday, Meloni emphasised that Italy prioritises the protection of human life and will not participate in any offensive military actions. She characterised attacks on civilians as unacceptable violations of international law, asserting that the conflict can only be resolved through peaceful negotiations and diplomacy.
Qatar Airways updates flight schedule for coming days
Qatar Airways is currently operating a restricted flight schedule due to the temporary closure of Qatari airspace. While scheduled commercial operations remain suspended, limited flight corridors have been authorised to help reunite affected passengers with their families.
These select flights do not represent a full resumption of service, and operations will only fully return once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms the airspace is safe.
