ISLAMABAD: The names of key participants coming to Islamabad for talks have been revealed as preparations for the major event are underway in the federal capital. The talks between the US and Iran will take place over the next two days.

A private channel quoted diplomatic sources as saying that the talks for the ceasefire will be held in Islamabad on Friday, for which preparations are underway.

The major roads in the city have been blocked to all types of traffic, while a complete ban on vehicle entry to the red zone is also in place.

Sources say that Iranian Parliament Speaker Qalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will participate in the talks from Iran, while Vice President and President Trump’s advisor Steve Witkoff is expected to participate from the US.
It is worth mentioning that as a result of Pakistan’s efforts, the US and Iran have agreed to a two-week ceasefire.
