ISLAMABAD: In a joint operation conducted by the Intelligence Bureau and the Islamabad Police have arrested the facilitator of the Islamabad G-11 Judicial Complex blast was arrested on Friday.

A joint operation by the Intelligence Bureau and CTD. Four members of the TTP/Fitna-ul-Kharij terrorist cell involved in the attack on the G-11 Judicial Complex, Islamabad also arrested.

The commander of the TTP/Fitna-ul-Kharij, Saeed-ur-Rehman alias “Dadullah”, contacted through the Telegram app and directed to carry out a suicide attack in Islamabad. During the investigation, the handler of the suicide bomber, Sajidullah alias “Sheena”, confessed to the attack.

Saeed-ur-Rehman alias Dad Akbar Charmkang, Bajaur, currently residing in Afghanistan, is the intelligence chief of the TTP, Nawagai, Bajaur. The suicide attack was carried out to cause maximum casualties to the law enforcement agencies.

Dadullah sent the pictures of the suicide bomber, Usman alias “Qari”, to Sajidullah alias “Sheena” so that he could receive him in Pakistan. The suicide bomber, Usman alias “Qari”, belonged to the Shinwari tribe and was a resident of Achin, Nagarhar, Afghanistan.

When the suicide bomber reached Pakistan from Afghanistan, Sajidullah alias “Sheena” kept him in a suburb of Islamabad. On the instructions of Dadullah, the commander of TTP/Fitna al-Khawarij in Afghanistan, Sajidullah alias “Sheena” obtained a suicide jacket from Akhun Baba Cemetery in Peshawar and brought it to Islamabad.

On the day of the explosion, Sajidullah fitted the suicide jacket on the suicide bomber, Usman alias “Qari”.The senior leadership of Fitna al-Khawarij/TTP in Afghanistan was guiding this network at every step.

The entire cell involved in this incident has been caught. The operational commander has been arrested along with his three terrorist associates. Investigations are ongoing, and more revelations and arrests are expected.
