ISLAMABAD: Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Abdolnaser Hemmati meets Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on the sidelines of the Islamabad Talks on Saturday, the Foreign Office said.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Pakistan), both sides underscored the importance of sustained dialogue and agreed that peace and stability in the region were essential for strengthening economic cooperation and achieving shared progress.

The meeting took place during the ongoing Islamabad Talks, which have brought together regional stakeholders for discussions aimed at promoting dialogue, stability and cooperation.

Officials noted that the engagement reflected continued diplomatic interaction between Pakistan and Iran, particularly on matters related to regional peace and economic collaboration.
