ISLAMABAD: Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has expressed deep admiration for Pakistan, saying the country holds a special place in his heart, echoing the sentiments of Iran’s late leaders

In a message to celebrate the ninth day of the Iranian New Year, Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei emphasized that Pakistan is a “great country” and expressed his respect for the strong ties between the two countries. “Our love for Pakistan is no secret. I share the same sentiments for Pakistan as our martyred leaders did,” he said.

He also mentioned the example of a Friday sermon that the late Iranian Supreme Leader offered, in which he prayed for Pakistan during the floods, showing the support of Iran for Pakistan.

Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei further emphasized that he never hesitates to express his feelings of affection for Pakistan in various public forums and meetings, reflecting the strong diplomatic and cultural ties between the two countries.

In his message, Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei also touched upon other important issues, stating that Iran’s military forces have never launched any attack against Turkey or Oman, but Israel might try to create divisions among the countries of the region through false flags.
