TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a defiant stance against international pressure, asserting that Iran will never surrender its dignity or territory.
Speaking on the nation’s resolve, Araghchi recalled previous tensions with Israel and the rhetoric used by President Donald Trump, noting that despite calls for “unconditional surrender,” Iran remained steadfast in its resistance.
The Foreign Minister pointed to past conflicts as evidence of Iran’s endurance, claiming that after periods of intense military pressure, it was Israel that ultimately sought an unconditional ceasefire.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi:
When Israel started to attack us last year in June, we know Trump used the same phrase — “unconditional surrender.” That was a tweet he made, and that didn’t happen.

Araghchi stated that the Iranian people and leadership are prepared to resist “as long as it takes” to defend their sovereignty.
Concluding his remarks, Araghchi stated that Iran remains committed to defending its people and dignity, declaring that the nation’s honour is “not for sale.” The statement comes at a time of heightened regional tensions, signalling Tehran’s refusal to back down in the face of external military or political threats.
