Mohammad Reza Bahrami, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director General for South Asia at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, praised Pakistan’s key role in reducing tensions in the region.
In a recent statement, he said that the Islamic Republic of Iran wholeheartedly welcomes all diplomatic efforts by Pakistan aimed at ending the ongoing aggression of the US and the Zionist regime within the framework of our country’s legal and recognized rights.
According to Iranian officials, this approach by Pakistan is proof of the importance of political and regional solutions for establishing lasting peace, reducing tensions and returning stability to the region. Mohammad Reza Bahrami added that this coordination between Tehran and Islamabad is not only in the interest of the two brotherly countries, but it will also help improve the peace and security situation in the entire region.
Iran believes that only through cooperation with regional powers external interference can be prevented and the Middle East be saved from another major war. These efforts by Pakistan are being described in Iranian diplomatic circles as a positive step towards stability.
