Iran’s paramilitary force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, has claimed that it has targeted a US military base in Kuwait and carried out missile attacks on Ben Gurion Airport.
In the videos released by Iranian media, it can be seen that missiles fall one after another around the airport, resulting in loud explosions and flames rising. Iranian sources say that Israel’s defence system stopped some missiles, but the rest of the attacks caused alarm sirens to sound in the area.
On the other hand, the United States has announced that operations against Iran will continue until it is completely defeated. Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Ervani, has said that more than 1,300 Iranian citizens have been killed so far as a result of US and Israeli attacks. According to him, a total of 9,669 civilian sites were destroyed in these attacks, including 7,943 residential buildings.
Iranian officials say that the situation could become more serious due to rising tensions in the region, while there is also a demand for immediate intervention and measures to reduce tensions from the international community.
