Iran announces to target Israeli and American banks and financial institutions in the region in response to an attack on a bank in Iran.
Iran has warned that it may target economic centres and banks affiliated with the United States and Israel in the Middle East. The Iranian media has described this threat as a response to the attacks targeting an Iranian bank.
Spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Command, Ibrahim Zolfaqari, has said that the American and Zionist governments have now targeted the bank after failing in their objectives. He said that this move has forced us to also target economic centres and banks affiliated with the United States and the Zionist state in the region. He added that the United States and Israel should now expect a severe retaliation from Iran.
Iranian authorities have warned the people of the region to stay away from a one-kilometer radius of banks to avoid damage in the event of a possible operation. Iranian authorities have previously consistently emphasized that Iran will respond to attacks on itself by attacking military bases in the region from which the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran.
