ISLAMABAD: The International Qirat Competition continued for the third consecutive day in Islamabad, where 10 finalists from different countries were announced on Wednesday.
Pakistan’s first International Qirat Competition continued on Wednesday in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, as participants from around the world showcased their melodious voices and mastery of Tajweed on the third day of the event.
Qurra (reciters) from Morocco, Türkiye, Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Uganda, Iran, Afghanistan, Benin, Togo, and Malaysia participated on the third day of the competition.
The semi-final and final rounds are scheduled for November 27.
Afghanistan’s Abdul Rab Ayubi, Egypt’s Muhammad Saad Eid, and Morocco’s Ayoub Alaa reach the top ten
Turkey’s Tayyab Hos, Pakistan’s Qari Abdul Rashid, Iran’s Adnan Momineen and Malaysia’s Ayman Rizwan reach the top ten
Iraq’s Mustafa Imad, Bangladesh’s Meza Noor Rahman, and Indonesia’s Mahmududdin reach the top ten. Prizes will be distributed on November 29 among the winning contestants.
