Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi says that international law is almost dead, and the West has double standards on the issues of Gaza and Ukraine.
According to a foreign news agency, Abbas Araqchi said that this double standard of the West is reflected in the silence on the US and Israeli attacks on Iran. Reacting to the German president’s statement, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that he appreciates the German president for breaking the silence and condemning the illegal war against Iran.
The German president declared the US war on Iran to be against international law. Abbas Araqchi says that even those who believe in the rule of law should raise their voices against violations of the law.
It should be noted that German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier had called the US war on Iran a devastating political mistake and a violation of international law. Speaking at a ceremony in Berlin, the German president severely criticized US President Trump for starting the war on Iran and said that this war is a violation of international law.
