ISLAMABAD: By introducing a new service, Instagram intends to make it easy for users to find the reels they have already visualized. The new feature called “Watch History” was announced by the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri.
The new feature is going to record the user’s experience in the exploration of the content of the Reels. So, they can be sure to have the chance to watch the video again (which they might have missed) and they haven’t just scrolled past by mistake. It is particularly great for those people who frequently come across great stuff but lose it because of a refresh or an accidental scroll in the app.
It is very simple to access the feature. Users can access the feature through the Instagram app by following Settings > Your Activity > Watch History. The latest viewed videos will be displayed at the top, and older ones below. Indeed, one can even select a specific date in order to view the videos he viewed on that particular day.

With this new feature, Instagram hopes to be raising its game as much as the user experience is involved, and making it easier for users to find content that they like and visit them again.
