ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has extended the closure of its airspace with India until November 23, 2025. The month-long extension will apply to both Indian commercial and military aircraft.

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has issued a new NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) indicating that Indian aircraft will not be able to fly in the airspace of Pakistan. Complicated as of April 23, 2025, this threshold is now extended into this further round.

The NOTAM states that Indian aircraft, either commercial or military, will be unable to travel through the airspace of Pakistan the entire timeframe of the NOTAM. However, exceptions could be made for medical emergencies, or if there were humanitarian grounds, then permission to land could be granted.
