Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has said that India’s irresponsible behaviour has now reached the sports ground, which is against the spirit of sports.
Addressing a ceremony organised by the Institute of Regional Studies in Islamabad, he said that after its defeat in the military field, India is now using high-handed tactics on the sports field. Atta Tarar says that Pakistan exposed India’s misleading propaganda, Pakistan gave a befitting reply to India’s unjustified aggression, Pakistan created a new story of victories in the 4-day war, and India requested a ceasefire after Pakistan’s strong response. The federal minister said that Pakistan has always played an effective role in achieving lasting peace in the region. The Modi government and Hindutva ideology have suffered a humiliating defeat. India is an oppressor and an aggressive country that is trying to become an oppressor.
He said that the truth of incidents like Pahalgam has been revealed to the world, Pakistan had offered an independent investigation into the Pahalgam incident, the war against terrorism is not just for itself, but to make the world safe. He said that India, which has turned away from international norms, cannot pretend to be an oppressor. Pakistan believes in peaceful coexistence. Pakistan has played a key role in peace and stability in the region. Atta Tarar says that the people of Pakistan are part of a civilisation where traditions are given importance, and will continue to provide political, moral and diplomatic support to the people of occupied Kashmir. The Information Minister said that they want a solution to the Kashmir issue in accordance with UN resolutions.
