INDIA: The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has strongly slammed the ongoing Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit in India, calling it a “systematic PR spectacle”.

Rahul Gandhi, while sharing the official statement of the Congress, has alleged that the Modi government is offering Indian talent and data for sale instead of using it for the benefit of the country, while Chinese products are being showcased instead of Indian innovations at this important global forum.
The strong response issued by the Congress has said that the Modi government has made India a laughing stock at the global level in the field of AI.
According to the statement, Chinese robots are being presented as Indian products in the ongoing summit, on which the Chinese media has also made fun of India, which is a very shameful situation for the country.

The Congress has also taken a dig at Modi government minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and said that it is regrettable that a responsible minister is promoting lies by promoting Chinese robots at an Indian summit.
According to the party, these policies of the Modi government have caused irreparable damage to the country’s prestige and have made a mockery of a sensitive and important sector like AI. The statement further said that the power of data available to India could have made us a global leader in this sector, but the government’s alleged incompetence and brazenness have squandered this golden opportunity.
