ISLAMABAD: The Indian government has blamed Pakistan for being responsible for disruptions and congestion at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport to hide its own failures.
Indian officials accused Pakistan of hiding their incompetence, and alleged interference from across the border may have contributed to technical problems that caused flight delays and heavy passenger queues.

According to reports, several airport systems, including baggage handling and check-in counters, experienced interruptions, leading to widespread inconvenience for travellers. Authorities have not yet provided detailed evidence to support the claim, but stated that “a full investigation is underway.”
Pakistani authorities termed the allegations baseless, reflecting India’s incompetence.
Meanwhile, aviation authorities in India stated that they are working to restore normal operations and enhance crowd management at the airport. Passengers are advised to check their flight schedules in advance and arrive at the airport early to allow for security procedures.
