Noreen Niazi, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founding chairman Imran Khan, was injured in an accident in Rawalpindi, when she falls in under construction drain.
Noreen Niazi suddenly fell while crossing an under-construction sewer line at Dahgal Naka in Rawalpindi, resulting in injuries to her hands, feet and nose. According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when she was trying to cross over the drain.
The people present at the scene immediately pulled her out of the under-construction drain and shifted her to a safe place and provided first aid. According to sources, her condition is said to be out of danger.
Another woman who was with her also fell and got injured during the accident, who was also given medical aid. After the incident, the locals have demanded that security arrangements be tightened around the under-construction projects so that such incidents can be avoided in the future.
