RAWALPINDI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) Ali Ameen Gandapur said that PTI founder Imran Khan has expressed anger and disappointment over the poor arrangements and mismanagement at the Peshawar rally.
He claimed that the party chairman ordered to identify the elements who were responsible for the disorder and mismanagement. Chief Minister said that the Investigation into the incident of showing shoes and throwing bottles in the rally is underway, and the culprits behind the incident would soon be brought to book.
He added that some people in the party are conspiring against him, and some important people in the party are involved in the campaign against him on social media. He said that he tried to meet twice before this, but the meeting could not take place with PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
“I will punish those who demonstrated negligence in the arrangements of the rally, and so far I have never spoken against any party leader,” He remarked. Gandapur said that the PTI Chairman was also disappointed over the low attendance of workers from Punjab in the rally, for which the Punjab leadership is responsible, and they would submit their explanation to the PTI founder.
Chief Minister said that Imran Khan told him that if he had seen a sea of people in the rally, he would have been satisfied. PTI founder said that it is beyond understanding why there was disorder in the rally in Peshawar.
