LAHORE: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is likely to be replaced.
According to provincial government sources, various names are under consideration for the post of IG Punjab, including CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamiana, Additional IG CTD Waseem Sial, Rao Bal Karim. They are likely to get their next posting in the federation.
Federal government sources further said that Dr. Usman Anwar is likely to be posted as Director General (DG) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from Punjab to the federation.
