BAJAUR: After the suicide attack on the Malangi post in Bajaur on February 16, IG Frontier Corps (North) Major General Imran Sartaj Rao personally visited the Mamond area, interacting with the public without following any formal protocol.
Major General Rao chose to travel by motorcycle to assess the security situation and boost the morale of local residents. He moved through the streets and roads of Mamond like an ordinary citizen, surprising onlookers with his hands-on approach.
During his visit, Major General Rao spoke directly with the local community and assured them of full support in maintaining law and order in the area.
