DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the Men’s T20 World Cup, which will kick off on February 7.
Pakistan and India are set to face each other on February 15, 2026, in Colombo. This match will mark the first encounter between the two teams since the 2025 Asia Cup and will take place at the R. Premadasa Stadium.
In the tournament, India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group alongside the USA, Netherlands, and Namibia. India will play against the USA on February 7 in Mumbai and will face Namibia in New Delhi on February 12.
According to the schedule, three matches will be held daily during the group stage of the tournament.
India and Sri Lanka are co-hosting the World Cup, which will run from February 7 to March 8. Pakistan will play all its matches in either Colombo or Kandy.
The ICC has informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that if Sri Lanka qualifies for the semi-finals, those matches will be held in Colombo. Additionally, if Pakistan advances to the final, it will take place at a neutral venue.
