The International Cricket Council has announced the nominations for the Player of the Tournament of the T20 World Cup, which include Pakistani players.
Among the players nominated by the ICC for the Player of the Tournament is Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan. Sahibzada Farhan scored 383 runs in 7 matches at an average of 76.60 and a strike rate of 160.25, while he also set the record for the highest run-scorer in a single edition of the T20 World Cup by scoring 383 runs in 6 innings.
Pakistan Sahibzada Farhan scored centuries against Sri Lanka and Namibia, he is the only batsman to score two centuries in a T20 World Cup.
India’s Sanju Samson is also shortlisted for the Player of the Tournament by the ICC. In addition, England’s Will Jacques, South Africa’s Lungi Ngidi and Aiden Markram are also among the nominees, while New Zealand’s Rachan Ravindra, Tim Seifert and America’s Shadley Finn Skolwick have also been nominated as the best players.
