The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released the details of the procedure and fees for citizens to change their age on the National Identity Card in 2026.
According to NADRA, citizens can apply for corrections in their date of birth or change of age, but for this, it is mandatory to submit valid documents such as a birth certificate or other official record.
Where to apply?
Citizens residing in Pakistan should submit their application at NADRA registration centers, while Pakistanis residing abroad can apply through Pakistani embassies or the Pak ID application.
Age change fee on the National Identity Card
NADRA’s fee depends on the duration of the change and whether the applicant is residing in the country or Pakistan. Fees for citizens residing in Pakistan, Change up to 1 year: Rs. 1,000, Change from 1 to 2 years: Rs. 2,000, Change from 2 to 3 years: Rs. 3,000, Change beyond 3 years: Rs. 5,000, Second time age change: Rs. 10,000, Fee for overseas citizens (in US dollars), Change up to 1 year: $15, Change from 1 to 2 years: $25, Change from 2 to 3 years: $40, Change beyond 3 years: $65
Second time age change: $125
