Legendary Hollywood actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89, leaving behind a brilliant career spanning six decades, a strong family legacy and a fortune worth billions of rupees.

According to an Indian media report, the family of actor Dharmendra, popularly known as ‘He-Man’, is considered one of the most influential film families in the Indian film industry. Dharmendra belonged to the village of Nasrali in Ludhiana district of Punjab. His father Kewal Krishna Singh Deol was a school teacher and his mother, Satwant Kaur, was a housewife.

In 1954, at the age of just 19, Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur. From this marriage, they have four children. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijaya Deol and Ajita Deol. In 1980, Dharmendra married actress Hema Malini, with whom he also did several superhit films. This relationship was a subject of much controversy because Dharmendra was legally married to Prakash Kaur, but he also remained married to Hema Malini and they have two daughters.

Hema Malini and her daughters live separately in Mumbai, while Dharmendra mostly lived with his first family, but the two families always maintained a respectful relationship. Investment and financial discipline gave Dharmendra a strong financial position.According to Indian media, Dharmendra’s total wealth is estimated to be between 335 crores and 450 crores.

The total wealth of the Deol family is estimated to be over Rs 1000 crore, making them one of the most powerful families in the Indian film industry. It should be noted that 89-year-old renowned actor Dharmendra had been ill for some time. He was re-admitted to the hospital due to severe respiratory problems, where he breathed his last.
