KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs 2,100, reaching Rs 422,700.

According to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold climbed by Rs1,800 to settle at Rs362,397.

On Friday, gold had dropped by Rs4,578 per tola, closing at Rs420,600.

In the global market, gold prices also gained, with the rate rising by $21 to reach $4,016 per ounce (including a $20 premium), according to APGJSA.

Meanwhile, the silver price per tola remained unchanged at Rs5,100.
