How many US warplanes were destroyed in the war against Iran?
The US has suffered heavy losses on the air front during the ongoing war against Iran.
According to a report by the international news agency Bloomberg, 16 US warplanes have been destroyed so far.
The report states that 10 Reaper strike drones are among the destroyed aircraft, in addition to which 6 US warplanes have been severely damaged.
According to Bloomberg, 3 US warplanes were destroyed in the airspace of Kuwait, while a KC-135 tanker plane crashed during a refueling operation and was destroyed.
The report further states that after these losses, questions have also been raised about the strategy of US air operations.
