TOKYO: The well-known Japanese car manufacturer, Honda Motor Corporation, has revealed a new logo which is going to be a considerable alteration after 62 years of its use.

The present logo, which consists of the letter “H,” was launched in 1963 for Honda Cars. This “H” sign has been used all over the world to represent Honda’s car lines and even non-automotive products and activities.

The new logo is considered a harbinger of the company’s full-scale switching to electric vehicles, comprising the Honda 0 Series. The new logo is a sign of Honda’s strategic plan to grow with the time to pose new challenges and to accept innovation.

The new “H” design turns out to be a simultaneous event with the industry appearance of the next generation of electric vehicles. Honda’s new hybrid electric (HEV) models would reportedly hit the market by 2027.

Honda unveils updated Civic models in Pakistan at introductory prices

Earlier, the Japanese manufacturer Honda has revealed the initial prices of its updated sedan Civic range in Pakistan.

According to reports, the prices of various Civic models are set at different levels and the announcement came just after the opening of new bookings for the models.

The lowest initial price for the Civic is PKR 8,499,000 and that of the Civic Oriel is PKR 8,834,000. The premium model Civic RS commands a price of PKR 10,100,000.

As a part of its marketing strategy, the firm has emphasized that such prices are provisional and can be availed for a limited time only, and that too under standard terms and conditions.

It is important to mention that Honda has also raised the amount for booking which is now required for the new Civic range. According to the announcement, the booking amounts are set at PKR 1.3 million for the Civic, PKR 1.4 million for the Civic Oriel, and PKR 1.6 million for the Civic RS.

In addition, Honda made it clear that the new Civic range would undergo a minor facelift and all the variations would be upgraded with features. The company is trying to ensure customers get a more pleasant ride to the point of making such changes. Nonetheless, the full specification has not been disclosed by the producer yet.

The firm still hasn’t revealed the specific date when the introductory prices will end, thus customers who are interested in the promotion should make reservations as soon as possible. The automobile industry experts argue that such prices which are offered for a limited time could be one of the factors which can greatly help in making the buyers’ attention on the products.
