PESHAWAR: The district administration issued a notification on Wednesday banned tourist entry to Narran and Kaghan valley till summer next year due to heavy snowfall.

A notification issued by the deputy commissioner stated that no tourists would be allowed to proceed to Naran or further towards Babusar Top from Kaghan town following fresh snowfall in upper parts of the valley.

It added that travelers to Chilas (GB) should now use the Karakoram Highway till the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road reopens in summer, most likely in early May next year.

Narran and kaghan roads are blocked, temperatures drop quickly and tourist movemet is now restricted.

As Narran and Kaghan valley has wrapped in a white winter blanket authorities issued notification for restriction till next summer.

The notification is issued for they safety of people.
